Once your biomaterial has passed quality control, we will proceed with the DNA analysis. Usually in 4-8 weeks the results are already available in your personal account, but sometimes the time is extended to 3 months.
Our high-tech Illumina equipment allows tests to be carried out with an accuracy of over 99.9%.
Our DNA tests have no age limit. It is important to collect enough saliva, which can be difficult in young children.
All test results and customer data are encrypted on our servers. We comply with EU Regulation 2016/679 and take measures against any leakage of information.

Yes, you can download the raw test data in three formats: VCF, 23andmeV5 (txt) and 23andmeV3 (txt). You can transfer them to other genetic services or databases. You can share the processed results through a special link in your personal account.
Yes, there are reagents in the test tube to preserve the biomaterial, and they do not last forever. The shelf life of the kit is 1 year from the date of receipt. If you were given the kit as a gift, look for the expiry date on the packaging.
No, you do not need to take the biomaterial a second time, just purchase the test - after payment, the new results will be available in your personal account.
DNA does not change over the course of a lifetime, so the raw test data is for life. The processed results are updated with age, changes to the questionnaire and new genetic discoveries.
